Dislikes: Wasting time Croydon is one of the major towns of London and where I have lived since 2005. I am originally from East Africa. From a young age I always had good interest in IT and always thought of myself as some IT genius even when I didnt really know much about things. I also demanded way too much respect from those who knew very little about computers especially when they needed my help and on this note I took the advantage of bossing about my IT skills. huh! years gone by... My real journey started at Croydon College while doing my BTEC National Diploma for IT in 2006. I had ambitions to learn everything about Computers with no particular subject. My mind developed faster than any average mind because of the personal difficulties I was going through during my first few years in the UK. However, I strongly believed that where there is opportunity all that is missing is the Will Factor. I picked interest in Programming because of the excitement I had with VB 6 when I made a Builders Application. I carried on from there and exercised with many small applications and everything I learned, I put into practice. In another module, my other teacher taught me Web Design and PHPMySQL which helped learn how to design websites. So as the course went on, I gained more knowledge and kept on searching for new things. I also wanted to share my knowledge with everyone. It was through these times that I thought of making life a little easier in terms of Education by creating this big project that would benefit everyone. Initially this was to be a video (MP4) tutorial project but I got new ideas every now and again. As time went by I got continuous visions about making an online interaction website but all of this was just a dream and not reality. By this time I had a rough idea of what sort of life I wanted to live in the future... "OH YES! Running a successful E-Business" In 2008 I completed my BTEC Diploma and went on to study Bsc [Hons] Computing at University which also included E-commerce and Programming. It was at University that the stress of personal troubles which also involved student poverty situations became just too constant. This sort of hardship made me think so hard to survive but with all my 'late-night-dreams', unclear visions and laughable ideas down on paper, I came up with a new idea of physically starting up an online business and loading it with anything I could think about. Dreamranger was the right solution which I knew was to help people make good use of affordable IT services. For the fact that this was just a start, I practically had no job and very little money (Student loans and savings from my benefits). So while my fellow students went out to nightclubs and shopping designer clothes, I had to starve myself, buy cheap stuff and stay indoors to save money for paying off my hosting provider and purchasing all the computer equipment, books and software I needed. After saving just enough money, I opened up a basic hosting account and bombarded it with everything I had on mind. I kept making so many service changes because during this time I had not yet studied much about Systems Analysis and Design or Software Engineering so the website was rather disorganised. On the 23rd of February 2010 after coming up with a more sensible website, I officially registered Dreamranger as a sole proprietorship business but then I decided to put a hold to it in order to complete my University course. In June 2011 I completed my Degree and restarted Dreamranger with new looks and services that have been running since then. I thank God for His mighty power for without Him none of this could have happened. My story continues and as the years go by... more will be added to what you now know about me. Thank you for reading and thank you for your time. Thank you and enjoy the visit.
